On Tuesday the Council held a public hearing to receive testimony on the proposed new logo. Ten citizens presented opinions in favor and against. The Council weighed whether to postpone a decision for further information from the city's marketing company or to proceed. Ultimately, after about two hours directed to that item, the Council voted to adopt the new logo.
