I spoke to another blogger last week and learned his posting too was less than prolific. It made me feel better, that my own lapse was maybe more related to the "season" than to…, what, laziness? Yeah, that's it: a seasonal thing.
 
In fact, looking to what other "local elected officials" were blogging, I detect a similar pattern of lag. Posts gathered at the site usually run five or more per day. It's down 40% or more. Good, that about proves the seasonal versus lazy aspect of the phenomenon.
 
In all seriousness, my apologies for not posting more of recent. These are the slow news cycles that the regular media will tell you about but I do have information to share and hope to have a bit more time to get into the groove.
