Non-residential burglaries and thefts pushed the number of reported crime incidents a little higher in October. A large percentage, as always, occurs in the retail areas. Some is shoplifting but some is vehicle burglaries. It is in our own interests to park where others regularly come and go, and to not tempt burglars by removing or covering items that might attract their attention.
Be safety conscious at all times. Report incidents to the police immediately. Report suspicious activities or persons. The non-emergency number is (972) 485-4840. Let's work to keep our families and neighbors safe!
