Soldiers and Marines returning from Iraq at DFW Airport were greeted by area crowds, including Scouts from Cub Scout Pack 161 and Boy Scout Troop 57. The Scouts and their families arrived at DFW about 7 a.m. Saturday morning. The troops were offered iced water and treats by the Scouts. Reports indicated that Mini-Oreos were popular. Many of the Scouts in Pack 161 are from District 1, drawing strongly from Luna and Lister Elementaries. The Pack is sponsored by the First Baptist Church.
