The Granville Art Center in Garland

Is this a first? I don't remember it happening before.
 
Of the Top 100 Best Places to Live, Garland is No. 67, according to CNN & Money Magazine!
 
A few other Texas cities also made the list, some higher and some lower. Richardson (18) made it. Of course, most didn't.
 
Looking at how we compare to the Top 10 this year, we're shy in most catagories, but we did very well in nearby movie theatres and restaurants. We totally flunked in nearby ski resorts. I guess they weren't thinking of water skiing.
 
Obviously we still have some work to do but we can be proud of this recognition of how far we have come.
